Help Desk Analyst

Eastleigh

Salary: £18,000.00 to £24,000.00 /year

Full-time

Autofutura are a leading specialist provider of global data management software solutions and consultancy to the automotive finance and leasing industry, motor manufacturers, fleet operators and rental companies.

Due to constant growth and success within the company, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to take on the role of Help Desk Analyst at our office in Eastleigh, Southampton.

The role will entail:

  • Acting as first line response for Data / IT / Development
  • Monitoring incoming Help Desk requests / emails
  • Resolving appropriate Help Desk requests
  • Obtaining a precise description of the problem and the circumstances under which it occurs
  • Devising a resolution or possibly a workaround until a permanent solution is found
  • Seeking advice or assistance from colleagues
  • Assigning Help Desk requests to appropriate team members

You will work with and assist the following team members:

  • Data Analysts
  • Development Team
  • Project Team

Key skills and attributes required:

  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service experience.
  • A friendly manner in person and on the telephone.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – in particular Excel and Word
  • The ability to problem solve by asking precise questions to ascertain the issue.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of a busy office.
  • Ability to follow processes
  • Team player – conscientious and reliable
  • NVQ Customer Service an advantage
  • Some familiarity with the automotive market would also be an advantage
  • The post is subject to a basic DBS check
